The TUSQ XL series can maintain correct tuning longer than any nut made of synthetic resin such as graphite or plastic. You'll also get a crystal clear tone, and as a result, the sustain effect will also be improved. The fact that TUSQ XL is used by guitar manufacturers around the world is proof of its high reliability.
TUSQ XL releases Teflon micromolecules when the string vibrates. TUSQ XL covered with this molecule minimizes string friction and reduces out-of-tuning. And since this Teflon molecule is released from the nut, it never disappears and is always effective as a lubricant.
