EAST WEST / HOLLYWOOD STRINGS 2 is a sequel title to ""Hollywood Strings"", which is a monumental string instrument sound source, and a bold change in direction. Instead of a large-scale studio, we tightly recorded a 21-piece chamber music string ensemble in EastWest Studio 2, which is approximately 80 square meters, and created the most nuanced string sound source to date. Original sound that moves your emotions
All of the recorded instruments were more closely miked than ever before, capturing the hardness, depth, and atmosphere in as much detail as possible. It supports three close mic positions, including mics attached directly to the instrument, and mixing controls for the main, midfield, and surround mics. Hollywood Strings 2 also supports Atmos, allowing you to create Atmos mixes with supported DAWs. Epic arrangements are great, but there's more to strings than scale... The previous Hollywood Strings was certainly epic, but Hollywood Strings 2 goes even further and is ready for any task.

“Hollywood Strings 2” was recorded in Studio 2 at EASTWEST, as was the recording of the “Beverly Hillbillies” and “HAWAII FIVE-0” themes, as well as the “Encanto” and “A Star Is Born” soundtracks. Incidentally, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Weezer, and Metallica have also chosen EASTWEST STUDIO 2 as their recording studio for its tight, punchy sound. It's no surprise that Hollywood Strings 2 is as at home with cinematic metal and heavy rock as it is with epic movie cues. If you're tired of large ensembles and need to be selective and focused, there's probably no better choice than this intimate string instrument, even if you already have a complete collection of instruments.
