Powerful glitches and sound design heaven.
There are three broad categories of effects.
Each category has both sophisticated controls and BASTL's own exciting and extreme controls.

The DELAY FX (LED color = blue/greenish) include a clean “stereo delay,” a “flanger” with stereo chorus function and blistering extremes, and a “freezer” that captures and freezes a moment in time.
AMPLITUDE FX (LED color = bright colors) includes “Autopan” with ring mod possibilities, a crunchy “Digital Crusher” with powerful feedback, and a “Rhythmic Slicer” that can create fun rhythmic transients from any drone. Rhythmic Slicer” that can create fun rhythmic transients from any drone.
The PITCH SHIFTING FX (LED color = reddish) includes a dirty “Pitcher (pitch shifter)” that shifts up the signal and can do so in a tonal or rhythmic fashion. There is also a fun “Replayer” that lets you play with audio inversion and pitch shifting, and a “Shifter” that lets you move the pitch up or down in a more nuanced way with detuned sounds or feedback pitch slopes.
There is also a “Filter” in the Shift menu!

The selection of modulation and active FX MODE opens the door to extreme sound design and glitch territory.

Effect parameters can be freely modulated with the built-in LFO and pattern generator!

There is even an envelope follower for dynamic effects that follow the input audio.
