Built completely from scratch, S3's user interface includes numerous new features, including window resizing, removable tabbed windows, audio to MIDI conversion, a MIDI grid editor, audio sample import, and 35 built-in mixer effects. Additionally, it includes a wealth of tools for customizing the included drum kits.

The complete sound library was recorded from scratch at Galaxy Studios (Belgium), renowned for being the most tranquil and ideal sampling environment in the world. The engineer is world-renowned master George Massenburg! The core library included in ""S3"" is 230 GB, and includes not only close mics and ambience mics, but also 11 room mics to accommodate a variety of uses and genres. Compatible with stereo to 11.1 surround systems.
