The EW-DP plug-on transmitter features a digital UHF XLR plug-on transmitter, +48V phantom power, microSD card slot, and 3.5mm lav mic input. For use with Evolution Wireless Digital.

Sennheiser's Evolution Wireless Digital series of digital wireless microphone systems is the successor to the Evolution Wireless G4 system. The EW-D is a digital wireless microphone system that retains the reliability and sound quality of the acclaimed G4 system, while offering simplified setup, low latency, wide dynamic range, and other advanced features.
The EW-DP has a 134dB audio input dynamic range, which enables recording of detailed, clear, and distortion-free audio without the need for sensitivity adjustment. Furthermore, the EW-DP has a low latency of 1.9 ms, even though it is wireless.
The Smart Assist App is a dedicated app that connects to iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth Low Energy for efficient setup, operation, and monitoring from remote locations.
