The StarNet DM256 converts up to 256 channels of DanteR and 256 channels of MADI bidirectionally. Integration of Dante IP core technology enables massive I/O counts with a single Ethernet connection, setting a new benchmark in audio technology.

Digital Symphony
Boasting one of the largest digital I/O counts, the StarNet DM256 is capable of 256 channels of MADI input/output with four MADI ports. These ports feature duplex MADI SC optical connections, as well as dual BNC coaxial connections, and comply with professional MADI standards.

The StarNet DM256 incorporates a state-of-the-art low-drift crystal oscillator and PLL, making it the ultimate master clock in any professional studio environment. Dante connectivity includes dual Ethernet ports for redundancy. Daisy chain connection is also possible in switch mode.

Featuring Maximum Channel Mapping (MCM), the StarNet DM256 ensures seamless multiplexing of MADI I/O assignments per port, maintaining session integrity when switching sample rates. The OLED screen on the front panel provides at-a-glance access to important network settings, sample rate, bit depth, and more.
