Late 60's Jaguar Lake Placid Blue

Lovely guitar. Beautifully finished, relatively lightweight, great feeling neck (not too skinny like some MIJ Fenders), fretboard level, frets polished and ends nicely rounded. Some setup strangeness with the bridge but easily corrected, also strange that it ships with 9's but the nut was slotted wide enough for 11's. The neck pocket seems to be angled from the factory as it came sporting a healthy break angle at the bridge and no shims are fitted. Tuning is very stable even with a thorough thrashing. I had planned on upgrading the pickups but the stock units sound great with none of the excessive feedback I've heard complaints about. Also the guitar is well shielded and is far and away my quietest single coil guitar. Love it!

マッチングヘッドにブロックインレイ、ネックバインディングと通常の仕様とは異なるジャガー。
ルックス面でみるととても豪華で、その割に価格も抑えめなのでとても良いと思います。

ただしボディ材はアルダーではなくバスウッド、価格を抑えるためには仕方ないのかもしれませんがアルダーだとうれしかったな～と。

とはいえバスウッドだからダメっていうわけでもなくサウンド面も良い感じです。扱いにくいイメージがあって今までジャガーは避けていましたがそこまで難しくなく使えているのでこの機会にいかがでしょうか？
