With aDrums, we believe that the match between the feel and appearance of each instrument's size and the sound it produces enhances the player's performance expression. In addition to attractive visuals, including an 18"" kick, 13"" snare, 14"" hi-hat, and 18"" ride cymbal, the aDrums offer the same feel and distance as acoustic drums, while remaining just the right size for home or studio use.

Also, by providing ample depth for the kick drum and floor tom, you can experience the aD5's solid, deep bass through both sight and feel.

●Dynamics on par with acoustic drums
With conventional electronic drums, striking the center of the head produces an abnormally loud hot spot, which often led to the sound source narrowing the dynamics (volume) to make this less noticeable.

By using multiple sensors on the drums and cymbals, the aDrums equalizes the sensitivity of the striking surface, allowing you to express your intentions accurately, from pianissimo to fortissimo. The groove created by freely controlling the wide dynamics of acoustic drums brings out the performer's individuality.

●Flexible side stick
Makes side stick playing even more comfortable. The side rim, with its beautiful contrast between the wood grain and lacquer paint, is made of maple, which is ideal for newly developed natural frequency detection technology. The wooden feel and side stick sound are perfectly matched, providing excellent playability. Unlike previous side sticks, You can alternate between rim shots and side sticks without switching buttons, greatly expanding the freedom of your performance.

The hi-hat is the instrument that requires the most delicate control in drum performance. Conventional electronic hi-hats often use contact sensors, which have limitations in detection accuracy and tracking. The aDrums hi-hat uses a non-contact sensor, enabling highly accurate sensing with no delay, even when the hi-hat is opened and closed quickly.

The aD5's hi-hat control algorithm has also been optimized for this new sensor, achieving even greater expressiveness and precision.

●More freedom for cymbals
A newly designed pivot allows for natural omnidirectional swing. Cymbals that can be played all around the perimeter require no cumbersome parts such as rotation stoppers; simply place them on a cymbal stand, just like acoustic cymbals. We also paid particular attention to the flex of the entire cymbal when the edge is struck and the thickness of the tip, pursuing a playing feel similar to that of a bronze cymbal, even with a quiet silicone rubber surface.

The kick drum, which is the core of your performance, requires stability and fast onset. Our unique cushioning structure, which balances damping and sensing of the beater's impact, achieves a solid feel and fast onset.

The 18"" shell and large spurs provide stability and security, allowing you to comfortably play beats. They also provide stable sensing and playability, even for hard hits using a twin pedal.
