The CLASSIC PRO/CBR2 is a Bluetooth receiver that supports stereo audio.

The CBR2 easily enables Bluetooth audio playback by simply connecting it to the XLR microphone input terminal of a mixer or powered speaker. In addition to switching between stereo and mono modes with a single unit, two units can be used for TWS (True Wireless Stereo) stereo playback. Furthermore, it has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery, providing up to 8 hours of continuous playback on a single charge of approximately 2 hours. This highly versatile Bluetooth receiver is ideal for a wide range of uses, including speeches, lessons, and band practice.


■MONO Mode

The left and right channels of the stereo signal are mixed into mono.


■STEREO Mode

The left channel is output from the lower XLR, and the right channel is output from the upper XLR.


■TWS Mode

Two CBR2 units are required. The left channel is output from the first CBR2, and the right channel is output from the second CBR2.

■Part Names

LOW (Red): Flashes when the built-in battery power is low.

CHG (Orange): Lights up during charging and turns off when charging is complete.

FULL (Red): Lights up when charging is complete and automatically stops charging.

Power Button: Press and hold the button for 3 seconds or more to turn the device ON or OFF.

Pairing Button (BT): Press and hold the button for 3 seconds or more to pair with a smartphone, tablet, laptop PC, etc.

TWS Button: Links two ""CBR2"" speakers for audio playback from two speakers (TWS mode).

STEREO Button: Switches between stereo and mono modes.

*In stereo mode, the LED is always lit, and the left channel signal is output from the lower XLR terminal, while the right channel signal is output from the upper XLR output. In mono mode, the LED is off, and the left and right channels of the stereo signal are mixed into mono and output from the lower XLR terminal.

■Pairing Method

1. Turn on the CBR2.

2. Press and hold the pairing button for more than 3 seconds to enter ""pairing mode"" to search for Bluetooth devices, and the blue LED will blink.

3. Select ""CBR2"" displayed on the settings screen of the transmitting Bluetooth device (smartphone, etc.) and connect.

4. Upon successful pairing, a confirmation sound will play, and the blue LED will change from blinking to solid.

■TWS Mode Pairing Method

1. Prepare two CBR2s and connect each to a speaker, etc.

2. Press the pairing button on the first CBR2 to pair with the audio device.

3. Turn on the second CBR2. 4. Press and hold the ""TWS button"" on both CBR2s simultaneously. The green LED will change from blinking to solid, indicating that the two CBR2s are connected. The first CBR2 outputs the left channel, and the second CBR2 outputs the right channel.

The maximum output level of the CBR2s is +6 dBu. For example, if you have your smartphone's volume at maximum, it will output a signal equivalent to line level.

If you connect this to a mixer's microphone input and increase the gain (GAIN) as you would a microphone, it may cause distortion or excessive input.

Please take one of the following actions:

If your mixer has a PAD switch:

→ Turn the PAD ON (this will appropriately attenuate the signal input level).

If your mixer does not have a PAD:

→ Adjust the GAIN knob from the minimum (zero) setting.

→ Also, lower the volume on your smartphone or other connected device to ensure clear sound.
