""DRUM MIDI - BACK TO THE ROOTS"" is a drum MIDI pack that mixes elements of soul, blues, and folk with an edgy behind-beat feel. It provides pocket-style grooves that are perfect for hip-hop beat makers as well as acoustic songwriters.

This piece was performed by Skye Polson, the drummer for the Canadian group Digging Roots, who won two JUNO awards. ""I have a swampy, laid-back feel to my style, and generally approach my playing with pockets and grooves first. My background is primarily blues, so I also love the shuffle.""

Expect an eclectic mix that touches on a variety of styles, but is centered around two basic elements: pocket and groove.
