Ever since Jimmy Smith popularized the Hammond organ in the 1950s, this unique instrument's tone and expression have always been an important element in the jazz sound. Since then, the organ has been established as a solo, harmonic, and melodic voice, along with the piano, saxophone, and guitar. KEYS MIDI - JAZZ ORGAN is inspired by many of the great performers and songs that followed this milestone in the evolution of jazz.
