Overview
TERRA is a multifaceted polyphonic, microtonal, digital synthesizer with a very unique functionality and approach. Featuring a unique, ultra-minimalist interface and design using natural materials and forms, TERRA explores new principles for building instruments and innovative ways to interact with them.

Features
TERRA's innovative keyboard design brings new playing techniques and covers the full range of a grand piano, allowing each note to be tuned with 125 steps per semitone accuracy. To achieve this range on such a simple keyboard, we designed a unique pitch-shift system with four additional sensors, and by changing the combination of the four sensors, 16 different keyboard transpositions can be achieved, including up to three octaves up or down, five degrees, four degrees, three degrees, and whole notes. TERRA not only delivers the full range of a grand piano in a very compact design, it also offers a completely new approach to playing melodies and chords.

The keyboard consists of a 12-note sensor with velocity and pressure sensitivity for manually creating slow attacks and vibrato, four dynamic sensors for tone change and control, four pitch shift sensors, and two hold sensors for maintaining tone and note sensor status. Inside TERRA are 3-axis motion sensors for creating different modulations with simple and intuitive hand and body movements.

TERRA is digital and has 32 complex synthesis algorithms. Each algorithm has been carefully designed to be a complete and flexible instrument in its own right, and can be learned and played in its own way. terra frees the musician from hundreds of parameter settings and hours of tedious programming to create a single tone, and instead places the music and performance directly in focus, allowing them to follow their imagination and inspiration.

TERRA has the best of both worlds: the direct, intuitive tactile connection of an acoustic instrument and the flexibility and versatility of a synthesizer. terra takes the design principles of LYRA-8 and also applies new principles introduced in ReFLEX to explore the future of synthesis TERRA is the first of its kind in the world.

TERRA's built-in FX processor and ready-to-use stereo outputs make it ideal as a stand-alone performance instrument. Although the sound generation is digital, TERRA contains its own custom-built, top-quality analog components that are rich, natural, clear, and powerful all at the same time.

TERRA's enclosure is made of three pieces of wood, making each instrument unique and slightly different. Also note that the joints between the different pieces of wood may be visible on the body of the instrument; the TERRA logo is made of brass and encrusted on the wooden case.
