Voiced by pickup design virtuoso Tim Shaw, the custom Jason Isbell Signature Telecaster pickup features vintage-style components with extra windings and a subtle treble sparkle, resulting in a tone design that perfectly captures the nuances of both a Telecaster and a Stratocaster. The bridge position pickup is based on Jason's 1965 Telecaster pickup, delivering Jason's signature sultry tone and sparkle, while the neck pickup features a taller bobbin for increased winding, recreating the character of a Stratocaster.
