Maths consists of a total of four channels, with channels 1 and 4 on the left and right of the panel being the main functions. In addition to these two channels, channels 2 and 3, which consist of input/output jacks and attenuverters in the center of the panel, and the combination of the SUM/OR bus at the bottom of the panel, allow you to use a variety of functions, from musical uses such as AR, ASR envelopes, and LFOs to modulation sources with complex changes.

When used as an envelope, it functions as an AD envelope by inputting a trigger signal to the TRIG input, and as an ASR envelope by inputting a gate signal to the signal IN. RISE sets the attack time and FALL sets the decay. Each parameter can also be controlled by an external CV signal via the CV input. If you use the both input, you can control both RISE and FALL at the same time. The envelope curve can be controlled by the LOG/EXP knob. The generated envelope can be increased/decreased and inverted by the attenuverter knob in the center of the panel.

When using as an LFO, press the CYCLE button to turn on cycle mode. This allows the envelope to loop without connecting anything to the TRIG input and can be used as an LFO. Since there is no knob to adjust the frequency (speed) like a typical LFO, adjust the speed with the RISE, FALL, and LOG/EXP knobs. The generated LFO can be increased/decreased and inverted by the attenuverter knob in the center of the panel.

When using as a slew limiter, or portamento, connect a CV source to channel 1 or 4. The time for the rise can be set with RISE, and the time for the fall can be set with FALL.

The EOR (End of RISE) output outputs a gate at the end of a rise, and the EOC (End of CYCLE) output outputs a gate at the end of a cycle. This can be used as a trigger delay or divider.

The SUM/OR bus at the bottom of the panel processes the voltages from channels 1 to 4 using a logic circuit and outputs them. OR outputs the maximum value of all input voltages. SUM out adds, subtracts, or inverts the voltages depending on the attenuverter settings, and outputs the sum. INV out outputs the inverted signal of SUM out.

This is a versatile module that can be used for a variety of purposes depending on your ideas and how you perceive the functions.
