Make Noise / Ch.Svr Channel Saver

The Ch.Svr module is a small utility module that provides multiple signal processing channels that are useful in almost any modular system. A condensed/expanded version of the sum/offset/attenuversion aspects of MATHS, this module continues the great tradition of creating control signals that are used to create sound signals.

FEATURES

- Use channel 1 or 2 to scale, amplify, attenuate, or invert the input signal

- Generate a DC offset if channel 1 or 2 is not patched

- Use channel 3 to crossfade between two signals or attenuate one signal

Tips and Ideas

Using Ch.Svr before or after a CV that determines melody or pitch, such as a sequencer or quantizer, can create richer variations in musical patterns.

For example, try patching a sequence CV to one of the A or B inputs of Ch.3 and patching the SUM OUT to an oscillator. The Ch.1 and Ch.2 knobs determine the offset voltage of the input sequence CV, allowing you to transpose the sequence.

By inputting a sequence CV to Ch.1 and using SUM OUT and INVSUM OUT with the knobs fully turned, you can simultaneously handle normal and inverted sequences.

You can create new LFO shapes by adding or subtracting two or more LFOs using the attenuverters on Ch.1 and Ch.2.
