API / MC531

The API/MC531 is a monitor controller that streamlines your DAW workflow.

■ Monitor Controller

API's analog consoles have captivated musicians and engineers worldwide.

The MC531 is a standalone product that reinterprets the center section of the API console as a monitor controller.

Designed with monitoring functionality in mind to streamline DAW workflows, it seamlessly integrates into any audio production environment where accurate reference is required.

The MC531 features the same circuitry as API consoles and draws inspiration from previously developed API console monitor control modules, adding several features that many users find convenient.

The MC531 has a main output and two alternate stereo outputs, the latter of which have individual trims for adjusting speaker levels.

A subwoofer can also be connected to either the main or alternate output.

The MC531 features three analog line-level inputs, and a total of seven stereo inputs including AES, USB, 3.5mm, and Bluetooth, enabling the creation of monitoring environments that many studios demand.

It also features two independent headphone outputs and a built-in talkback microphone. The 41-click CR knob allows for precise volume control.

Once you use it, you'll immediately understand the layout, functionality, and sound quality built on API's legacy, all integrated into the monitor controller.
