This is a multi-scale model with the standard 34"" scale on the 1st string side and 35"" scale on the 5th string side. The 1"" difference allows for a comfortable sound for the low-B, eliminating the difficulty of playing that can often be found with multi-scale basses. It provides a crisp low tone that cannot be achieved with a long scale bass.
