While the longer a shielded cable is, the more its high frequencies tend to degrade, Ex-pro Cable uses a proprietary new material (HIIIX) to minimize high-frequency degradation for guitar/bass use. This minimizes the impact on tone, such as high-frequency dropout and reduced attack caused by the guitar/bass's volume control, dramatically improving sound quality.

Sound quality is not only determined by the cable, but also by the plug and plug cap.
