The Student Set cello strings are a combination of AD with Passione and GC with Chromecor. All four strings are made of high tensile steel with a solid steel core and chrome steel windings. This is a cost-effective string combination that is specially tailored to the requirements of students and their instruments. The A and D strings have no metallic sharpness and combine a warm, rounded sound with a clear, powerful tone.
