Some older Gibson models have thicker heads around the 1st and 6th strings, and the peg posts do not protrude far enough from the head surface to allow the strings to bite into the pegs when they are wound.
In this case, we recommend the Magnum Lock.
The back of the pegs are stamped "DELUXE" on the back side of each model.
Basically, these pegs can be installed on Gibson guitars of all ages, but please check the size of your guitar before purchasing.
The brass parts are chrome plated.
