EVH / Wolfgang Special Striped Red with Black and White Stripes

The Wolfgang Special Striped model boasts an intense sound, brought together by player-friendly features and eye-catching specs such as the iconic striped design, black headstock, and chrome hardware, and manufactured to produce countless great rock tunes. The Wolfgang Special Striped model is a guitar with a great response, built to produce countless classic rock tunes.

It features an arched-top basswood body and a quarter-sawn maple neck reinforced by a built-in graphite rod, and is built to Eddie Van Halen's exacting specifications. The neck's 22 jumbo frets and 12-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard support ultra-fast playing. A truss rod adjustment wheel at the neck heel allows for easy neck adjustment.

Two custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Humbucking alnico 2 pickups mounted directly on the body provide dynamic and accurate voicing as well as rich sustain to support powerful chords and solos.

The low-friction volume knob allows for smooth volume playing, while the high-friction tone knob prevents accidental tone changes. A reliable EVH-brand Floyd Rose locking tremolo and Floyd Rose locking nut combine to maintain accurate tuning even during extreme arm playing. The bridge is equipped with an EVH D-Tuna that instantly switches to drop-D tuning.
