Inspired by the historic Gretsch "Rex" acoustic guitars sold in the 1930s, 40s and 50s, the Jim Dandy models capture the charm and spirit of Gretsch's early flattops with superior playability and class-leading tone.

The Jim Dandy Parlor, with its small, highly portable parlor body and 24-inch scale, has a clear and unique midrange tone that is unique to parlor guitars.

The X-braced body is made of carefully selected lightweight laminate materials, achieving the optimal balance of woody vintage tone and durability. Details faithful to the specifications of the time, such as the vintage-style pin bridge, pickguard with "G" graphics, painted pinstripe purfling, "3-on-a-plate" open gear tuning machines, and oversized dot inlays, exude nostalgic individuality.
