UDO Audio / Super 6 White

Super 6 is a 12-voice polyphonic, binaural analog hybrid synthesizer. It is the result of combining the latest FPGA digital hardware oscillators with the voltage-controlled analog technology used in many vintage pieces of equipment, and it outputs gorgeous analog sounds that can instantly respond to the demands of various players.

It is the result of a harmonious fusion of cutting-edge FPGA digital hardware oscillators and voltage-controlled analog technology, which was often used in vintage equipment, and it outputs gorgeous analog sounds that can instantly respond to the demands of various players. The rich sound quality that combines delicacy and power is formed by a unique super wave table core, binaural analog signal path, and advanced modulation. Using the sophisticated control panel, the player can freely create sounds with overflowing sensitivity.

■DDS 1 (Oscillator 1)
FPGA-based 50MHz sampled superwave oscillator core + centroid oscillator, six sister oscillators can be dynamically phase-shifted in the stereo field
Waveforms: sine, sawtooth, square, triangle, noise, and 16 alternative waveforms that can be downloaded by the user

■DDS Modulator
The pitch of DDS 1 and DDS 2 can be modulated by LFO and envelope.
DDS 1 can be selected between 1/2 super mode and full super mode.
Detune spread control by super waveform sister oscillator

Detune spread modulation using the super waveform sister oscillator with LFO and/or ENV 1, and modulation of the pulse width of the standard waveform

■Audio Input
Stereo audio input via VCA, VCF, and effect sections
Variable gain input stage allows envelope and LFO 1 gate triggering according to audio input level

■LFO 1
The main LFO can be set to low frequency or high frequency mode, and the rate can be adjusted from 0.05 Hz to 20 kHz
Stereo effect using the binaural sound engine with left/right phase control
Can be reset by free-running or note-on
One-shot mode allows LFO 1 to be used as an additional envelope
High-frequency LFO keyboard tracking mode (useful for FM sounds)
LFO 1 can be mapped to a fixed rate through the DDS 1 or DDS 2 audio path, or in a high-frequency mode that can be tracked, and can also be used as a drone or third oscillator
Sequencer and arpeggiator can be synchronized to an external clock

■Mixer
Adjusts the mix level of the audio signals of DDS 1 and DDS 2
When in X-Fade mode, adjusts the split point on the keyboard for the crossfaded DDS 1 and DDS 2 (or audio input)

The SSI2144 is a recreation of the SSM2040 from legacy chip manufacturer Solid State Micro Technology, and many believe it to be the best sounding analog synthesis filter IC ever made. The SSI2144 is based on Dave Rossum's patented modified ladder topology, which allows for rich tonal characteristics that demonstrate the best characteristics of subtractive synthesis.
