○What is Auto Dry?
This is a moisture-proof cabinet that is useful in Japan, where the environment is humid throughout the year.
The internal humidity is always maintained at a low humidity of 40% or less, making it ideal for storing not only food, but also chemicals and equipment that is sensitive to humidity, such as cameras and condenser microphones.

○Camera
Mold grows on the lenses.
Mold becomes active and multiplies in an environment with a temperature of 10 to 35 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 60%. Mold grows in almost all seasons except winter.
Auto Dry keeps humidity below 40%, making it ideal for preventing mold.

○Condenser microphone
Condenser microphones, which collect sound through the vibration of a diaphragm, have a delicate drive system.
If mold grows on the diaphragm due to moisture, the sound quality will deteriorate and noise will occur.
In recording studios, condenser microphones are stored in desiccators (moisture-proof chambers).


○3D printer materials
The filament material that 3D printers are made from is also sensitive to moisture, and if you use a material that absorbs moisture, the model will not print properly.
Can be stored regardless of ABS resin, PLA resin, PVA resin, or nylon.

○Storage media (DVD/CD/Blu-ray disc, magnetic tape, film, etc.)
When moisture from moisture penetrates the polycarbonate base on the disk surface, data deteriorates and is lost.
Tape must be stored at a humidity of 40% or less, as the binder part will deteriorate.
