Oro, the second in the location-based Portal series, embodies our creative exploration of the sounds of Bogotá, Colombia, the hometown of half of the MNTRA team.

The sound sources that inspire this creative drive boast a rich collection of modern brass instruments, architecturally acclaimed pipe organs, metal percussion, and more. These sound sources are processed and transformed using analog and digital techniques, accompanied by an immersive natural ambiance.

With over 170 meticulously crafted presets, 84 individual instruments, and seven captivating natural soundscapes, Oro offers a vast palette of possibilities drawn directly from the rich musical tapestry of Bogotá.

Oro reimagines the legendary El Dorado not as a mythical kingdom exploited for its riches but as a dynamic hub of creativity and diversity. It allows you to immerse yourself in the gritty musical traditions of Colombia, shaping the musical transformation of a new generation and transcending borders.
