Developed to solve the reed problems faced by many woodwind players, Leger reeds are made from a new material that has almost the same vibration characteristics as a natural cane.

The angle of the cut, the strength of the cane, the vibration ratio, the surface finish, and the stability in relation to humidity and temperature have all been researched from various angles, and we have achieved a feel and tone that is not uncomfortable when compared to natural cane. Furthermore, the development of strength in 1/4 increments (*) through high-precision computer processing responds to the detailed needs of players.
