The PERFECTION “PFT-T850” is an entry-level power strip.

■Power strip (inlet type) with high-frequency electromagnetic noise absorption sheet

The noise generated by electronic components is becoming higher in frequency year by year, and noise in the frequency band exceeding 1GHz is being generated. This noise causes deterioration in sound quality. Therefore, the design is such that EMI suppressor sheets, which are effective in absorbing electromagnetic waves in a wide band, mainly above 1GHz, are installed inside the chassis to absorb the electromagnetic waves that are flying around and prevent them from having a negative effect on sound quality. To counter vibration, a 1.2mm-thick steel frame is used, and shock-absorbing sponge is used on the bottom. The frame suppresses vibration through its high rigidity, and the sponge absorbs any vibration that does occur, so vibration is suppressed overall. The color is a subdued gold, and it has a hammered finish that makes scratches less noticeable.
