AMPLE CHINA GUQIN is a software sound source that allows you to play the guqin (ancient Chinese zither) on your computer as you wish. The 8GB sample library contains 17 types of articulation, including sustain, tremolo, slide-in, and vibrato, performed using a guqin with seven strings. It also includes various guqin licks and sound effect samples.

In addition, AMPLE CHINA GUQIN has three play modes for controlling the performance. There is a “Keyboard” mode that allows you to play 12 chromatic semitones, an “Open String” mode that prioritizes the use of open strings, and an “Instrument” mode that does not allow two notes of the same string to be played simultaneously, based on the actual instrument.

Each sample is recorded with five microphones, and the volume and EQ controls can be adjusted for each microphone. Using the five microphone modes, you can create various sounds.

In addition, the “Riffer Panel” for creating riffs and phrases, which has been included in AMPLE SOUND's guitar and bass products up until now, has also been included. The “FX Panel” has an 8-band EQ, a compressor with selectable RMS and Peak, a 6-tap echo, and an IR reverb, making it easy to create sounds that are easy to understand visually.

■Recorded sounds
Includes 17 articulations such as sustain, tremolo, slide-in, and vibrato, as well as riffs and sound effect samples, recorded using a 7-stringed Guzheng. It was recorded using five microphones (left, right, body, stereo room microphone) that can be adjusted for volume and EQ, and the volume and EQ controls can be adjusted for each microphone. You can select from five microphone modes (AB x3 types, MS x2 types).
