With the 9.1 extension to Halo Upmix, the addition of the Ltm and Rtm channels adds vertical control in the surround space to Halo Upmix, and a real-time visual window for vertical sound energy diffusion.
Standard Halo Upmix features such as dialog extraction and detailed output control of individual channels are equally available when used in this 9.1 channel mode. The Halo 9.1 extension is ideal for a variety of Dolby Atomos-enabled applications, including 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos™ bed-track compatible sound design, film scores, restorations and archives, musical material, and productions for recreating soundscapes. It is ideal for a variety of Dolby Atomos-enabled applications.
