Extremely accurate headphone calibration The sound reproduced by headphones varies depending on their characteristics. SoundID Reference eliminates the problem of product-specific accuracy and dramatically improves the monitoring environment for any headphone.

SoundID Reference consists of measurement software and a calibration plug-in that runs on the DAW. Its advanced DSP neutralizes room effects on the monitor speakers and flattens the headphones. This provides a more reliable reference sound.

Calibration measurement microphones included: Special microphones for measuring rooms are individually assigned a serial number. By inputting that serial when measuring, the frequency response of the room is measured based on the frequency response of the microphones. This results in more accurate, flat, and precise measurements and corrections.
