AMPKNOB - BDH 5169” is a one-knob amp simulator modeled after the amp head known as the ‘Block Letter’ that was introduced in 1992. Its aggressive, punchy, high-gain tone was famously used by Machine Head, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Killswitch Engage, and others, and quickly became a hit among heavy metal and metalcore bands from the mid-90s onward. It became an integral part of the sound of many metalcore bands and remains an iconic part of the metal guitar sound to this day.

Even though it is a one-knob, it is not a toy. Jens Bogren, one of the world's most experienced metal producers, and his team of digital modeling experts have spent countless hours crafting the finest metal guitar tones and condensed them into a “ready-to-use plug-in. Once you're up and running on your DAW, you can focus on playing, with a sound that has been created with a speaker cabinet, microphone selection and settings, and recording chain based on more than 20 years of recording experience with renowned metal producers.
