The successor to the SL-1200GR, which inherited the technology of the SL-1200G released in 2016 and combined new technologies developed at the time. It uses the new-generation motor drive technology “Delta-Sigma Drive”, which enables more precise motor drive. In addition, improvements have also been made to the power supply circuit, which has a significant impact on motor drive.

1. New motor drive technology “ΔΣ-Drive” achieves even higher sound quality
We have developed new motor drive technology “ΔΣ-Drive” by utilizing our unique digital amplifier technology know-how.
It reduces slight irregularities and minute vibrations during motor rotation, and achieves stable rotation.

2. Multi-Stage Silent Power Supply that combines a low-noise switching power supply with a noise-elimination circuit
The unit is equipped with a low-noise switching power supply that makes use of the know-how cultivated in the development of the full digital amplifier, and has low voltage fluctuations.
It also uses a noise-elimination circuit called “Current Injection Active Noise Cancelling” that is equivalent to the one used in the reference class SL-1000R.

3. High-quality design and environmentally friendly packaging materials that follow the lead of the higher-end models
The SL-1200 series follows the traditional layout design, and is available in silver and black.
It inherits the design of the higher-end models and achieves a higher-grade finish.
As part of its efforts to address environmental issues, it uses corrugated cardboard as a cushioning material to reduce the amount of plastic used in packaging materials.
