FLAME/TAKT is a compact 30HP sequencer module for playing or programming trigger/gate/velocity rhythm sequences.

TAKT is a compact 30HP sequencer module for playing or programming trigger/gate/velocity rhythm sequences. The sequencer has a wealth of inputs and outputs, including 8 tracks of trigger/gate outputs, as well as control via 8 velocity/modulation CV outputs; the CV track can also be used independently as a modulation track. Real-time sequencing in looper mode can be done in two ways: "note repeat" using the SHOTS button, or "quantize trigger" using the keyboard or sensors.

Up to four tracks can be triggered simultaneously using four distance sensors. These sensors are 2HP space-saving modules that can be mounted anywhere on the case. They are connected directly to the TAKT using a ribbon cable, which also provides the necessary operating voltage for the sensors. 4 sensors and the connecting cable are included with the unit. The sensors generate a trigger/gate signal and can be used in combination with tracks 1-4 or 5-8, and the track combination can be switched instantly.

There are also four syncable LFOs with VCAs for waveform amplitude adjustment. This LFO has many interesting features, including 26 different waveforms, phase switching, amplitude adjustment, speed adjustment, and output voltage range setting. Unipolar or bipolar (0... +5v or +/-5v) ranges can be set, and the amplitude of the LFO waveform can be further adjusted with the built-in VCA. This means that the LFO output can be adapted to modules that do not have an input attenuator.

Patterns can be switched in real-time, each up to 4 bars long, and 4 patterns and a fill pattern are stored as a single scene. Up to 50 scenes can be stored in the module. This means that a total of 250 patterns are available.
