Capturing the “Vibration” of Space

We set up a “Wall of Sound” consisting of 56 guitar amps and 4 subwoofers at AIR Studios ? Lyndhurst Hall, and captured the sound that made the whole studio shake.

The recording features an ensemble of eight Lyra-8s, Christian's Analog Solutions Colossus and modular system, Deckard's Dream, JUNO, MS20, Jupiter, Moog, Prophet, 808 and other synthesizers, and a guitar ensemble of four guitars and two basses led by Leo Abrahams.

Synth textures/pulse, swarming guitars, percussion that combines power and softness... Let's play back sounds that no one has ever heard before at our fingertips.

APERTURE: THE STACK is made up of four amp levels.

In addition to the dynamics of velocity, it also has four dynamics layers controlled by the aperture (dynamics) control. The lowest amp, the amp above that, and the amp above that are enabled, and when the aperture is at its maximum, it plays the sound from all the amps.

Please enjoy this masterpiece from Spitfire Audio founder Christian Henson, which you would never have thought of using in the conventional sense.
