Explosive Afro-Percussion that evokes the image of free jazz

'TAPE PERCUSSION' is an explosive Afro-percussion sound library that is packed with the sensibilities of free jazz, created by the Nok Cultural Ensemble (NCE).

This library was recorded at the legendary Ariwa Studios in London and is powered by the award-winning SPITFIRE AUDIO engine. The sounds and textures included will open up new possibilities for modern tracks and media scores, with sounds that ring, crackle and crash.

With an intuitive and NKS-compatible toolkit, 'TAPE PERCUSSION' comes with five one-shot jazz kits, six one-shot African percussion presets, eight drum loops and 69 atmospheric scenes, providing inspiration and instant results for your music production.

About the Nok Cultural Ensemble (NCE)

The NCE is a group of percussion geniuses led by Edward Wakili-Hick, formed in 2017, and all of whom are leading figures in London in various genres such as jazz and beat. They handle many unique instruments such as Kpanlogo, Ravann, Shekere, Agogo, Drum Kit, etc., they create forward-looking rhythms while listening to the living traditions that date back to ancient times, with the mission of celebrating the diversity of black percussive music around the world and the culture that arises from it.
