A versatile piano sound that can be used for everything from pop music to background music

This product is a piano sound source recorded with a vintage Steinway Model A using a close microphone, and it can be used for a variety of styles, including solo, accompaniment, and as part of a large ensemble.

Three round robins and three dynamic layers were recorded in the acoustically treated environment of Castlesound Studios in Scotland. Using a selection of custom-made microphones, including a binaural Neumann K100 dummy head microphone, the instrument's rich tone, subtle nuances and wide dynamic range were captured as they were, achieving breathtaking realism.

From tight, bright pop sounds to deep, dark cinematic sounds, seven presets provide a wide variety of tones. Ribbon and condenser signals capture the details and mechanical artifacts of the instrument, while binaural signals capture ambient and reverberant qualities.

It is NKS-compatible, and you can use four controls designed specifically for this product with compatible controllers.
