SPITFIRE SYMPHONIC WOODWINDS is a premium orchestral woodwind instrument for the KONTAKT PLAYER format, created by some of London's finest woodwind players and AIR STUDIO, London's world-renowned recording studio.

Woodwind instruments, which are sometimes not used at all depending on the media composer, can be said to be a secret weapon that gives real power to a piece of music. SPITFIRE AUDIO has over 10 years of experience in creating woodwind instruments. In addition, they have experience of recording orchestral woodwind instruments at the best of the best recording studio, “Air Studios” (London, UK), for about 5 years.

This product, which took 10 years of thorough sampling and another 4 years to finish as the finest woodwind instruments, includes multiple dynamic layers, vibrato control, numerous round-robin samples, and a rich variety of articulations. In addition, instruments such as alto/bass flute and contrabass clarinet are included to enrich the sound of the woodwind choir.

Each instrument includes both solo and a2 sections. These can be combined to create the a3 section
In addition to the traditional piccolo, flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon, this library also includes alto/bass flute, bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet and contrabassoon
A wealth of articulations, dynamic range, and round-robin samples
In addition to the main articulations, additional modern articulations are included
Covers the articulations included in the woodwind instrument collection of the former BML series
