OLAFUR ARNALDS EVOLUTIONS is a cinematic string texture library by OLAFUR ARNALDS, the composer who won the British Academy Award.
A quartet of unique string players perform the “performance patterns” conceived by OLAFUR ARNALDS. The recording was done in a recording studio in Berlin. The user interface, which makes full use of the powerful scripting of KONTAKT, is equipped with the “EVO GRID” engine, which patches the performance patterns and the input MIDI notes. This allows even simple chord performances to be transformed into creative and inspiring string textures!

It will be especially useful as a tool for giving music for TV, film, animation, etc. a clear sense of world and imagery!
