ALBION - VOL.IV - UIST is a “cinematic orchestral sound source” that specializes in dark sounds, and it inherits the concepts of ALBION - VOL.1, which specializes in epic sounds, ALBION - VOL.2 / LOEGRIA, which specializes in delicate and beautiful sounds, and ALBION - VOL.3 / ICENI, which specializes in heavy bass sounds.

This product was created as a tool for composers who use orchestral and synth sounds to create music and sounds with a sense of imagery, to effectively produce a “dark worldview”. It contains “ALBION UIST ORCHESTRA”, a collection of around 800 orchestral sounds and avant-garde articulations, and “STEPHENSON'S STEAM BAND IV”, a collection of 200 cinematic synth sounds that match orchestral sounds.

ALBION UIST ORCHESTRA

A cinematic orchestral ensemble library featuring the world-class, ultra-prestigious recording studio “Air Studios” in London, England, high-end AD/DA converters, vintage ribbon microphones and mic preamps, and 2-inch tape that has been meticulously maintained. It contains 800 types of avant-garde articulations to effectively create a “dark worldview.”

CINEMATIC ORCHESTRA ENSEMBLE FORMATION:

High Strings - 10 1st Violins, 8 2nd Violins, 6 Violas

Low Strings - 8 Cellos, 6 Double Basses

Hi Woods - 3 Oboes, 3 Clarinets, 3 Flutes

Lo Woods - 3 Bass Clarinets, 3 Bassoons (+ doublings)

Hi Brass - 3 Trumpets, 4 Horns

Lo Brass - 3 Trombones, 1 Bass Trombone, 1 Cimbasso, 1 Tuba

The “ALBION UIST ORCHESTRA” is fully compatible with other ALBION and BML series.

All patches were recorded with four microphone positions: C (close), T (tree), A (ambient), O (outrigger). You can freely adjust the volume of each microphone on the interface.

STEPHENSON'S STEAM BAND IV

Contains 200 cinematic synth sounds that match orchestral sounds. The “eDNA Engine”, which was transferred from “EDNA01 EARTH”, allows you to create complex, grand, and deep dark soundscapes.
