SDX ROOTS - STICKS is an SDX expansion library that features "jazz," the origin of the modern drum set, and meticulously records drum sounds made with drumsticks.
Sound
The recording was done at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, USA. The drum sounds were recorded using a selection of the best equipment from the 1,400 microphones, 32-channel Pultec equalizers, 24-channel Fairchild compressors, and top-class outboard gear such as Neve, API, RCA, Chandler, and Telefunken that are stocked at Blackbird Studio.
The drummer at the time of recording was Roy "Futureman" Wooten, who is active worldwide. From on-mics to off-mics, Roy "Futureman" Wooten's single hits were carefully recorded.

MIDI Grooves
For jazz-style grooves, which are particularly difficult to express in terms of feel, nuance, and timing, we have included a wide variety of MIDI groove files created by drummer Morgan Agre, taking into account the performance of drums sound sources and the production of songs on host applications. Simply by lining up the grooves on the MIDI track, it is possible to quickly and easily construct a drum track full of grooves.
