SDX - DEATH & DARKNESS is an SDX expansion library that specializes in underground metal such as death metal.

It was created by two metal music producers, “Mark Lewis” (Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel, Coal Chamber) and “Tue Madsen” (Meshuggah, Behemoth, Hatesphere), at two world-class studios.

This album features two SDXs, one for each studio. The “DEATH” part was recorded by “Mark Lewis” at [Sonic Ranch] in Tornillo, Texas. The main room, designed by studio designer “Vincent van Haaff,” has a high focus, a warm space, good resonance, and balanced natural reverb. It was recorded in an acoustic space like no other.

In contrast, the “DARKNESS” part is completely different from the “DEATH” part, with a darker, rawer tone of the drums, and is a drum sound source that pursues intensity. It was recorded at [Antfarm Studio], located in Aarhus, Denmark, and headed by Tue Madsen.

Please experience the drum sounds, which total 184 GB and were created by two studios and two modern metal music producers. You can create a drum mix with so much power that it will cut through thick walls and make a hole. This is the perfect collection for various styles, from explosive beats and death metal with furious speed to hybrids inspired by hardcore, metalcore, and progressive metal.
