The new Duet 3 features next-generation performance, functionality, and a beautiful ultra-thin glass aluminium case. It also features on-board hardware DSP with the Symphony ECS Channel Strip*, which allows zero-latency recording with FX.

The Symphony ECS Channel Strip, tuned by Bob Clearmountain, comes with custom-made presets from the legendary mixer, so you can instantly recreate professional recording sounds.

Perfect for music production, voice recording, streaming and gaming, Duet 3 can be used in the studio or on the go, in combination with Mac or Windows workstations. Enhance your Duet 3 with the sophisticated Duet Dock accessory, which provides the ultimate ergonomic desktop environment.

Legendary AD/DA converters and world-class mic preamps
With two legendary Apogee AD/DA converters and two world-class mic preamps, Duet is the perfect partner for your home or mobile studio. Connect your mics, guitars, keyboards and line-level gear to capture every sonic detail.

Two balanced, line-level analogue outputs for speakers allow you to monitor and mix with maximum sonic depth and dimension. There is also a zero-ohm output for headphones.

Clean and accurate preamps
The preamp is one of the most important components for high-quality recording, and the preamps in the Apogee Duet are world-class. With up to 60dB of gain and 48V phantom power, you can capture any audio source cleanly and accurately, even the most demanding microphones. Apogee's meticulous engineering ensures that you can turn up the gain without increasing noise or distortion.

Plug-ins available with onboard DSP
To achieve the best performance, you need to record inspiring sounds quickly and easily. But nothing is more annoying than latency when recording. Duet has built-in DSP for Apogee FX processing, which accurately captures the incoming sound and eliminates the latency that occurs during recording, while still delivering great sound.

Symphony ECS Channel Strip - Tuned by Bob Clearmountain -
Tuned by legendary engineer Bob Clearwater, the Symphony ECS Channel Strip features EQ, compression and saturation controls. You can create the perfect blend of channel FX for tracking vocals and acoustic instruments. Choose from multiple Clearwater presets and use them with zero latency thanks to Duet's onboard DSP.

Apogee Control 2 software
All Duet features, including the Symphony ECS Channel Strip FX running on the Duet hardware DSP, can be controlled via the Apogee Control software.

Apogee Control 2 is included with all Apogee products. Apogee will quickly respond to future macOS and Windows OS updates to ensure compatibility with your workstation.

Apogee Channel FX Plug-in
The Apogee Channel FX plug-in allows you to control the channel strip directly from your DAW. You can adjust gain, turn phantom power on and off, set monitor levels, control and route effects from the Symphony ECS Channel Strip, and more - all while staying focused on your session.

Beautiful sound and design
At Apogee, we believe that design is an important element, as well as sound quality. As audio interfaces are the central focus of a studio, the design, including the visuals and operability, has a significant impact on the creative process. The highly reliable Duet control knobs allow you to adjust monitor levels, mic preamp gain, and navigate functions with stability.

The knobs also feature a purple under-light, which contributes to the Duet's world-class design. The low-profile body is made from scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass, which gives it a modern look and strong protective properties.

Dedicated Expansion Dock
The Duet Dock positions Duet at the ideal angle for quick parameter adjustments and easy viewing of meters and functions. The rear panel connectors on the Duet Dock are arranged in an orderly fashion, making it easy to connect Duet and organise cables.
