Designed as a direct replacement for Squier and Fender basses, the Badass OGT makes some significant improvements over the original without straying too far from the classic look. The use of a cast baseplate rather than a traditional stamped design increases stability and surface contact with the rear of the headstock, and a hex head worm gear tension screw reduces slippage, ensuring a smooth feel and improving tuning accuracy. Last but not least, we made the tuning key stem just a little bit longer to improve clearance around the headstock.
For Small Post (12mm brass post), the bushing requires a 14.5mm headstock hole (15mm outer diameter). New holes may need to be drilled.
