Designed as a direct replacement for Squier and Fender basses, the Badass OGT offers several significant improvements over the original without straying too far from the classic look. The use of a cast baseplate instead of the traditional punched-out design improves stability and surface contact with the rear of the headstock, while the hex-head worm gear tension screws reduce slippage, ensure a smooth feel, and improve tuning accuracy. Last but not least, the tuning key stem has been slightly lengthened to improve clearance around the headstock.
For the Small Post (12mm brass post), the bushing requires a 14.5mm headstock hole (15mm OD). New drilling may be required.
