‘Voidol SYNTH’
We have succeeded in making the vocoder engine, which was difficult to operate in real time, operate with an ultra-low latency of around 40ms.
You can freely set pitch changes and formant changes across three octaves up and down, and you can also change the formant to match the detected pitch, or deform the formant using a unique method. Depending on the settings, you can create a unique voice.

We have succeeded in making the vocoder engine, which was difficult to operate in real time, work with an ultra-low latency of around 40ms. You can freely set pitch changes and formant changes across three octaves up and down, and you can also change the formant to match the detected pitch, or deform the formant in your own way. Depending on the settings, you can create a unique voice.

2: Detailed basic settings can be made to suit the user.
The voice contains both periodic and non-periodic noise components that cannot be measured in terms of pitch. By setting the approximate pitch and voice quality of the speaker, it is possible to separate and convert both components, achieving natural conversion and noise reduction. A screen is provided for setting the details, so accurate conversion is possible by making appropriate settings to suit the user.

3: Fun additional functions
Using the details button, you can also use ‘Pitch Quantization’, which changes the pitch by semitone, ‘Pitch Stretcher’, which emphasises or reverses the intonation, and ‘Vibrato’, which automatically applies vibrato.

■Equipped with stream output and monitor output, essential for streaming
The ‘Voidol audio driver’ is included in the package (Windows version only), which allows you to send audio to capture software such as web conferencing systems and OBS Studio simply by installing Voidol2.
You can stream audio simply by installing the main unit, and you can stream audio while listening to the converted audio at an appropriate volume, so you can reliably convert audio while maintaining quality.
The macOS version requires a separate virtual driver from another company, such as VB-CABLE.

Sample player function to liven up your programme
The programme comes with a sample player that can play a total of 20 different sounds, divided into 4 banks and 5 types each.
You can play sound effects like ‘ping pong’ and ‘boo’ as well as background music to suit the progress of your programme. You can also register sounds you have created yourself or downloaded. It supports a wide range of formats, from MP3 to WAV files.
Furthermore, the ducking function, which lowers the volume of the sample player while you are talking, makes it possible to create a production that is just like a TV programme.
