Z-DSP is a cartridge-based open source platform for digital sound processing and effects generation for Eurorack modular synthesizers. Z-DSP delivers rich audio processing, deep stereo sound, and unique digital synthesis.

Feature
Z-DSP is a stereo digital sound processor with 24-bit sampling, 15kHz bandwidth, CV-controlled parameters for stereo feedback, program switching, DSP parameters, dry/wet mixing, sequential program control switching, and more, all in a single Eurorack module. The clock input is not a tempo sync input, but a dedicated clocking input for the DSP chip, which bends the algorithm with the input signal, creating a mysterious effect on the sound. This hardware technique is not possible with computer plug-ins, and is a feature unique to Z-DSP.

The updated white panel Z-DSP NS has a completely new analog circuit, resulting in a low-noise signal path, a clearer sound across the entire frequency range, lower distortion, and improved immunity to noise when sharing a power supply with other modules. A new analog dry/wet circuit has been implemented to eliminate the 3db gain drop that occurs when the mix knob passes through the center of the dial, making this feature more practical for live use. Reverse polarity protection has also been added. The new front panel matches Tiptop's colorful design, and the single printed circuit board and surface mount technology have improved reliability in production and use. The powerful Z-DSP engine is the same as the original Z-DSP module, and all Z-DSP dedicated cards are compatible between both versions. ■Width: 28HP
