Thomastik-Infeld's Dominant Cello strings are nylon core cello strings. They have a richer, fuller tone than steel cello strings. They bring out the best qualities of the instrument and produce a stable, soft, yet bright, well-balanced tone. They produce a tone similar to gut strings, but are also more stable than gut in terms of their resistance to temperature and humidity. They are available in sizes from 4/4 to 1/4. The set of strings is not a 147 set pack.
