Schilke / Hellberg II CLE (F) Lyric tuba mouthpiece

Founder Renold O.Schilke showed his talent as a trumpet player. He had been producing mouthpieces since his days as a player, applying his excellent knowledge of acoustics and mechanical engineering to the production of mouthpieces, and he realised the need for a mouthpiece tailored to each individual player. Hellberg II CLE (F) Lyric
The Hellberg II CLE (F Lyric) is the signature model of Yasuto Sugiyama, principal tuba player of the Cleveland Orchestra in the USA, for tuba in F. It has a slightly smaller throat and cup inner diameter and a shallower cup to suit the F pipe. It features a very efficient sound, quick response and a colourful sound.
