BOSS / GK5B

The GK-5B is a divided pickup designed specifically for bass. By combining a bass equipped with the GK-5B with a compatible BOSS/Roland guitar/bass synthesizer product, the range of musical expression can be greatly expanded.

The GK-5B uses a new digital serial GK system instead of the analog 13-pin GK system used in previous models. By realizing high-speed and stable communication, it opens up new possibilities for bass performance.

■Next-generation digital serial GK system
The GK-5B uses a new digital serial GK system instead of the conventional analog 13-pin GK system. By significantly downsizing the connection terminals, a minimalist design has been achieved. It has been downsized to about half the size of the previous model. To connect the GK-5B and serial GK compatible products, you can use the specially designed cable BGK-15/30, which is more durable and easier to handle than conventional cables.

■Can be mounted on various bases
The spacing between each string will vary depending on the bass you use. The GK-5B's pickup has string spacing adjustment, so you can set it up to suit the bass you're installing. Furthermore, it can be installed not only on 4-string basses, but also on 5-string and 6-string basses.
