BOSS / GK-5 Divided Pickup for Guitar

The GK-5 is a guitar-specific divided pickup that greatly expands the range of performance expression when used with a guitar equipped with a GK-5 and compatible BOSS/Roland guitar synthesizer products.

The GK-5 replaces the analogue 13-pin GK system used in previous models with a new digital serial GK system. The GK-5 opens up new possibilities for guitar performance by realising high-speed, stable communication.

Next generation digital serial GK system
The GK-5 replaces the conventional analogue 13-pin GK system with a new digital serial GK system. A minimalist design has been achieved by significantly downsizing the connection terminals. The GK-5 can be connected to digital serial GK-compatible products using the specially designed BGK-15/30 cable, which is more durable and easier to handle than conventional cables.
